Halloween Car Fun

It’s spooky October and All Hallows Eve is almost upon us.  So we thought we’d help you take decoration to the next level and have ‘dug up’ some awesome ways to scare the pants off people with your car!

🚗 Coming up with the Goods
When you’re deciding what to do you can go with a theme or a full on transformation. Turn your car into a spider, a murder scene (lots of blood!), a coffin or even a cat. Use your imagination!orange-supercar-duo-goes-trick-or-treating-with-halloween-pumpkin-look_5

🚗 Be Road Safe
You know us, always about the safety. So if you plan on driving your spooked out car then make sure your decorations don’t obscure your view and aren’t too head-turning, so that they won’t cause other drivers to get whiplash while they enjoy your handywork!  On the other hand, if you’re just doing it for the Big Night and your car will be on your drive all night then have at it, and go crazy!Clown Rear Wiper

🚗 Get Everyone Involved
Get on well with your neighbours? Why not have a competition to see who can do the best ghoulish car decs, and get the trick-or-treaters to vote! Nothing like a little healthy competition to bring of the evil side of you….

🚗 Get Crafty
It doesn’t have to cost the earth to kit out your coffin car! Hobbycraft and such places will have all you need. Use foam to make fangs, use what’s around in nature (fallen leaves, twigs etc), get to the Pound Shop for spider webbing and even giant tinsel type spiders.  Or loads of tiny spiders (honestly I don’t know which is worse!).Spider Car

🚗 Coordinate the Family
Going to be driving around in your coffin car on Halloween?  Why not dress everyone up in vampire costumes. Whatever your theme, you can coordinate you outfit.

Remember to be Safe This Halloween

🚗 No Time?
No problem! Go the simple route – get a washable chalk pen (like you would usually use to decorate a ‘Just Married’ car), and use it to create teeth, bats, coffins etc on your car. Get a red one too, you know, for the blood that’s leaking out of your lights, or from the doors (because of all of the dead bodies in your car). Or just put some spooky car seat covers on!

🚗 Go out on a Limb
Well, actually, get limbs to stick out of your boot or doors (as long as they’re secure and won’t drop out to cause issues – always with the safety!

We hope you’ve had a little giggle reading this and it’s given you some ideas on how you can incorporate your car into your Halloween. We would LOVE to see photos if you do it!

As always Oak Road fans, stay safe this Halloween. Watch out for little imps and devils who are a little high on life and sugar, and watch your speed 🚗

PS if you want some great ideas check out this site – but be warned they are a little crazy 👻🎃
